Art Instructions & File Upload Form
The printed copy must fit within a 7/8" (.875) diameter. If either dimension is larger,
our software will scale the larger dimension to fit. We prefer files
to be 600x600 in size and a minimum of 300 dpi. This size will fit perfectly
within the
maximum print area. We prefer
Tiff and JPEG files saved as RGB or sRGB. We like EPS from vector art.
Artwork from vector art programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FreeHand, Micrographix Designer, Corel Draw, etc. must have fonts or type converted to paths. Type cannot be "live" type.
Export these files as EPS or JPG. If you cannot convert the type to paths, then
make sure to EMBED the fonts in the EPS file. Most programs have an option for
you to check when saving or exporting as EPS files.
We have a Photoshop PSD template for setting up your file. Place
your image within the die line on a new layer. DO NOT MERGE or FLATTEN
file when sending it back to us. Do not change the size or resolution.
This is optimized to work with our printer. Rename it and save
it as a layered PSD file (the same format as you downloaded).

Photos can be printed as a rectangle or placed with in a circle.
Generally photos inside of a circle on a round ball tend to look a little better
than photos with square edges. Just let us know in your instructions,
and we will crop the image to fit within a circle. We can also feather
the edges a little. This makes for a subtle edge
instead of a hard break at the circles edge.
While we do have over 35 years in the printing industry, and we can do design work,
our goal is to produce a product that is low cost to you, therefore we cannot spend a lot of time fixing files to make them print. There are a lot of graphic designers that can handle your small project needs, and we encourage you to use their expertise.
Logos scanned off of business cards don't generally reproduce very well. It is best if at all possible to locate the original logo.
Photos taken from digital cameras will generally produce very good images. The images are scaled down pretty small on the logo ball, and the resolution is high enough that they will look great.
Be sure to include any special instructions about your artwork when
you upload your image. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to
call or e-mail us. After you order is placed it should direct you to the
file upload form.
We will NOT produce any images that are pornographic or have nudity. Text cannot contain vulgar language. Images that we consider to be
extremely objectionable will not be printed. If you're not sure about
your content meeting our standards, we ask that you send us an e-mail
attachment BEFORE you place your order. If your order has been placed,
we will contact you and send a refund, minus a 4% CC fee. We are a family run business, and each of us is involved in some way, including file
preparation, ball
preparation, printing, packaging and shipping.
